I have an ongoing bout with marijuana use. I didn't even touch it until about 2 years ago. And for a while I'd use it on occasion and have a really good time. But every once in a while I'd have really bad fits of paranoia and just feeling as though I was uncomfortable in my own body. So I immediately swore off pot forever. Then one night I went to my friend's apartment and we smoked for HOURS and I had a good time again. We smoked a ridiculous amount of pot and I felt so amazingly good that freaking out of having an anxiety attack didn't even cross my mind. Then a couple of days later I smoked again. This time I only smoked like half a joint and I freaked out bad. Like to the point where I was so utterly uncomfortable that I didn't want to live. So, due to recent circumstances I have started taking a liking to a girl who is extremely involved with pot. I want to smoke with her but I don't know whether or not I should. I've had some of the best, and some of the worst times of my life while high. I don't know whether or not it's worth risking my sanity. |

I've never had paranoia that bad from pot, and have never heard of anyone else who has, so maybe you should lay off of it as I suspect there might be some deeper problem. I for one am having an EXternal conflict with pot, as I was just informed tonight that if I am caught again with drugs by my parents that I will never have anything paid for by them again... "GREAT" i'm thinking.. |

I went through the same thing for years. I would smoke for a while and be somewhat ok with underlying anxiousness, then all of a sudden start having full blown panic attacks. Of course then I would segway to alcohol or something for a while then come back to it. Finally I completely gave up weed and now I only have a few drinks here and there really. |

I had a really bad acid trip one time that started it all, I thougt I was having a heart attack while I was tripping and it messed me up for a while. After that pot wasn't as care free as it was before and got pretty mental and complicated. |

club crackers are CHOICE! I used to love it on bread but now I think crackers are the way to go.. As for straight from the can, I used to be into that but then i grew past it, and now it's something I only do on weekends at parties. |

hmm...i think a lot has to do with the setting you're in when getting stoned...it's all in the mind with freaking out, even on acid... concentrate on your breathing, taking deep breathes and just relaxing... and remember...it's just pot man, it grows out of the ground!!! |

i had a bad dxm trip last week - and ive sworn off all hard drugs and anything that gets you "fucked up." im also cutting my marijuana use down a lot - only once in a while - maybe once every 2 or 3 months - on special occasions. i believe that paranoia and bad trips are mainly caused by location, and situation. you must be feeling comfortable and know your substance and your body/mind. |

I haven't smoked pot in a year. I just started disliking myself when I was fucked up. It's just like I'm lying to myself about my perception of everything. So I stopped. And I've decided not to do any other drugs either, except alcohol, because that affects me in a completely different manner. This all makes sense to me, sorry. |

Getting 'stoned' isn't good anymore. I get all clammy and paranoid and my heart just about jumps out of my chest. Smoking a little to get a head change can be fun still though, just not really 'high' |

it makes you trip, insanely, when you take alot. Never tried it... just heard stories from friends... about the pot... I kinda had the same thing... for awhile id get real nervous, and stuff, but after smoking a good amount for a good amount of time, I got over it but if you really think its bad, then stop |

you dont really need a lot - drink half of a 250ml bottle of robitussin. i wont be doing it again though - it was fun the first night when me/myfriend were alone - but when the situation got crowded and scary the next night i went off to a bad place. |

I'm the same, although I have been smoking the shit on & off for about 10years, my mind is weak these days & I am probably heading for a breakdown at some point in the future, I need to seek sanctuary & rebuild my inner self, I just hope I can hold it together & not end up in the asylum because that would be such a fucking waste & they would probably stop me from making music & then I would not want to live..... Just goes to show, life could be alot worse than it already is.... |

on medium doses it feels like you are walking underwater - on high doses it feels like everything has been put through a scrambler - you cant talk, you cant walk, you have NO idea what the fucks going on. you just emit huge strings of gibberish and thrash about on the floor. i like medium doses. |
