Spi - Raccoon
New track I uploaded for you all. Don't expect any amazing
beat patterns as I wanted to make a 4/4 stomper for mad
clubs/homes. Thanks, I don't post music often, hope u like.

I always like to download music from the musicians here and
mp3.com when it was running, the music I buy is from
independent artists irrelevant to if they are signed or not.
The last few days I have been on here I have downloaded 10
tracks from musicians here but the one time I post anything
(this being the third time) I get not one good response. +
I'm on 56k -.-

*grins* but more to it then that. the thudding is what
drives people mad, nice deep thumps to move to. the melodies
are more technical.

comment even if u don't like plz. :> I won't mind.

i didn't have anything to say about it so i said "um". i
just wanted to say something since you hadn't gotten
any responses.

so i guess i'll say something more about it now since nobody
else has:
i didn't like the bass drum noise and how it didn't really
do any thing but thump, but you sorta mentioned that in the
initial post. It was kinda annoying sounding. I think the
song definately needs more variety in general.

Mindless 4/4 like you say- not the sort of stuff I'd
"listen" to at home (as in sit in an armchair and
deconstruct the meaning behind it ;) I would get up and mash
to this in a club though. I dig the videogame type high
synth, but I'd like more mid range stuff in the melody to
make it a bit easier on the ear. Some dropping beats 2+3+4
every now and then for 4-16 bars would make for nice
breathers as well, but something tells me you were after
"relentless" :)

Merry Christmas to you old pal.

I hang around with musicians at the moment and tho they are
more technical then me in those regards they still love my
mental tracks. I wanted to make something where the beats
just thud you along and the melodies do everything else.
Something that you could drop into a DJ set and people would
think it's like gabber/rave but gone wrong but not have it
so unpredictable they couldn't dance. I knew most here would
prolly hate it cuz of the beats but people around here seem
to love it. People local here know I have odd tastes such as
rephlex and I’ve had people ask about me many times
because of the music I can get a hold of. I listen to all
music regardless of what style it is because if it ignites
my mind then that is enough for me. I love noise, eiffel65,
afx, bogdan, + loads loads more. }:>

Like I said, it would be great in a club, especially for in
the middle of a hard set with an already peaking crowd.
Something to really wear them out before you drop the tempo
a lot (beat mix some half temp stuff into it perhaps and
wind down from there).
