nah, it was ecandniarb....was reading an old email from the designer, Paul Nicholson, yesterday... Apparently, it was a font he was messing around with & cam up with the AFX logo & font... BTW he's an old friend of Richs; went to Kingston studying Graphic Design.... From email abck in 1999 : I met Richard during the Autumn term of 1991. We were both at Kingston Upon Thames University where I was studying Graphic Design. Our shared interest in Techno meant that we became good friends and started hanging out. The logo that Aphex uses was a modification of a typeface that I was working on. The origins of the typeface was to try and create an alphabet that looked alien or 'not of this world'. ....
