Hey all.
Long time no see ey. I spent some time on this track and I
desperately want some ppl to listen. I made a first version
and was told it was not good enough so I worked on it a lot
more. Please please make your comments as I love you all so
very much, especially at this time of year. Merry Christmas
to all!

The second synth that comes in at the start is a bit off to
my ears, a bit playstationy, but the first one is great and
the track is constructed nicely. Didn't bust into anything,
just echoes deeper but still sounds enjoyable. I like the
effects you get on that first synth the most, nice
atmosphere to the whole track. Best I can do for you.

nothing much happens in this track. it doesn't really do
anything for me. it needs some more changes or something.
something other than just that 3 chord progression. more
layers, melody or something. build up to something and let
it explode into some kind of climax, i don't know. sounds
kinda nice i guess, but it gets boring after about a minute.

Raz0rBlade_uk,

Interesting use of notes dude. They are literally identical
to the notes I've use on this track
The Bro - But I don't live in Detroit, Chicago or Sheffie...

But I'm going to have to say I do like the notes you've used
a lot. I agree there isn't much progression but 'cause the
notes are strong I think you're doing a good thing. These
are definitely my kinda notes. More progression would be
good though.

Raz0rBlade_uk,

What happened was I remixed your track and you remixed mine.
Actually mine is about 1.5 years old so I think I have
actual ownership on those notes. Lol.

i like it a lot - melodic lines fit great into beat, and the
bass is nice - not too strong - this is what i caal "well
balanced product"

nice work - post more

That melody is simple enough 4/4 so if you own the notation
about 1,000,000 musicians owe you royalties promo. Contact

i agree with evolume. everything is nice and clean but it
just doesn't seem to go anywhere.

by the way promo and Raz0rBlade_uk, i also made a song with
very similar notes to this one about a year ago. lol :P

Spikee Dragon,

I'm just fooling around you know. I know my notes aren't
original. :-)

i like promo's track a little better, but i'm not sure i'm
down with some of the noises used.. like that flatulent bass
line at the end. but some of the other noises are kinda
neat. beats are dancy. so the ladies probably can shake
their thang to it.

probably all notes were discovered upon invention of the
first stringed instrument, or at least upon the first breath
to pass through a slide whistle.

for me sound creation is paramount to do a melody justice,
sometimes i think (no offence) that the sounds used are a
little flat and digital (this is down to my personal taste
but analog style sounds are richer and more plesant)

I was fooling about too so I'm glad you take it as such
however I think originality has nothing to do with anything.
You can do a riff on a guitar and think 'shit, that sounds
like…' but by the time you record the whole piece it will
sound totally different. It's easy to cover the same ground
again and again in music but nothing wrong with that if the
ground is good and u don't just plain rip or diss, all music
is appreciated by someone as all tastes differ + got to
start someplace. u won't be a jedi overnight.

I had one of your tracks on a mix cd promo, a room full of
my mates got to hear it last weekend. nothing was said but
cool yea? :>

I like this track promo. There are many good things to say
about it. Like the beats fit almost perfectly with the tune
and the effects are introduced very well. I feel that we
have a very similar approach, cos I can imagine making this
song. There is one thing I might argue, is there could be a
tiny bit more depth, it feels like I'm hearing the song off
a piece of paper. That's not a dis to the song, cos it's
cool. Nice job anywayz

I don't like this too much to be honest. I find the chords
and melody too repetitive and it doesn't go anywhere.

Nice production, mind.
