Do you mean, "is there anyone like unkle you can recommend?"
or do you mean "Do any of you like Unkle?"

shadow = good
unkle (psyence fiction) = not shadows most consistent work
unkle (never never land) = not very impressed really, which
is a shame.

psyence fiction is excellent. even the
tea-cosy-on-head-wearing badly drawn boy track is good.

I love their video, where that guy is walking in the street,
and he gets hit by lots of cars, and then... WOHOO!

psyence fiction without shadow beats would sound as lame as
the next unkle album.

As far as I'm concerned the UNKLE album is where Mo Wax fell
off, due to the fact they released Rabbit in Your Headlights
as the first single when it should have been Gunsblazing or
The Knock... probably wouldn't have worked for the general
public but they rocked the hardest (Celestial Anhilation and
Nursery Rhyme come a close second though)... just for the
indie crossover cos of Thom Yorke. Ian Brown fucked James
Lavelle off but when the album sold he decided to sing over
Unreal/Be There... a big nail in the coffin.

Reminds me of summat... before the UNKLE album came out,
Shadow and Lavelle were on the cover of, I think it was
Mixmag, big interview with 'em... my mate decided to get his
hair cut like Lavelle... you know the one, shaved but with
two criss crossed stripes shaved deeper... a week later,
Robbie Williams got the same haircut and everybody who met
my mate was like "cool! You've got Robbie's haircut" and my
mate said "NO! It's James Lavelle!"... and they were all
"Lavelle who?" Terrible...

Mo Wax heroes: Doc Oc, Shadow. The only ones to consistently
bring the goods.

so the lesson here is: never get a haircut based on a
celebrity's.

and Robbie Williams is a cunt. but that's pretty much a
given.

I've tried my best to like Robbie, a lot of people love him
round here, what with him coming from Stoke-on-Trent, but I
was born in London so I feel no allegiance whatsover.

I realised the other week that I don't like Robbie cos his
music sounds like the kind of shit that's played at all the
Christmas parties I had to endure as a youngster... though
Rudebox doesn't sound like that at all, so I've found a new
reason to hate him. I do like some rhymes in Rudebox though,
although most are wank. I like how he namechecks TK Maxx,
which is a real cheap clothes shop, I think it's called TJ
Maxx in the US. I heard an interview last Sunday with him on
local radio, he was saying his new stuff was all about
"spinnin on lino", tosser. His old skool credentials are
sadly lacking.

Bigot? I don't follow. Where I'm from a bigot's a racist and
I can't see anything racist about my post... maybe you can
skool me?
