Phobiazero: I used to use the notify me function a lot, but since it started emailing me 20+ notifications for a topic I've stopped. I understand you have no way of telling if we've read the email. In v5, why not check if the user the reminder has been sent to has signed back into the site (Since we're having avatars I take it user accounts will be passworded?) since the message was sent and only send it to them if they have checked in since the last reminder? Alternativley only send the notification for every 5th response or something. Just an idea. Cheers, Ceri. |
