I'd agree with nobs, it's not evil...it is quite playful and
light hearted and enjoyable enough though. Good track that
just stops...why does it just stop?

yeah maybe your right. i guess its just fast enough that i
thought it was evil. it stops because the person i remixed
went into a part that was weird, and i didnt know what to
do. hes making a continuation of it though thatll be more
fun to mess with.

The synth I like, is subtle, fits well, did some cool things
with the effects. Works hand in hand with the drums, you've
got a good ear

I don't like the bass line, doesn't fit well. I don't know
why honestly, if I figure it out I'll post again. I've
listened to it at least four times and don't know why.

So ok, did you reprogram some of the drums or is just add
synth and bass over the beats? I haven't heard the original
song, so don't know what to critique exactly besides those
two things. Don't know what to give you credit for

There's a couple drum sounds which sound like you added in
which are cool, definitly picks up the energy a bit.

Overall, sounds good, will wait for the longer one to give a
full critique, want to hear how it develops

Feel free to check out the track I finished recently, thread
a bit further down

Wicked this is my shit. Its not an evil bass but this is
quality. Some of the best shit I've heard on the board
recently. The bass isn't too evil but this is pretty mad,
love it. Great intro to the board. Damn that came to an
abrupt ending. Mmm pretty good I think it needs a bit more
clarity. It think it shifts around a bit too much.

word up, thanks for the input! ill check yer track now. i
literally added just the bass lines and synths. theres one
part about 20 seconds into it when i add in some extra
drums. as soon as i get the full version from him im gonna
retouch everything.

I agree with Sanguine don't like the bassline either.
Doesn't really do it for me its a bit uneffecting. A
stronger bassline would bring this track together because
the drum programming is genuinely quite quite fresh and
engaging. Needs more work on the musical front and structure
IMO. Damn good intro to the board though I'd say.

sounds good. I wonder how you get the drums so clean. I know
you have to use eq and stuff like that but I can never get
them THAT clean. I guess good source material is important
to but would you care to explain?

I get the evilness now. I want an EP of this stuff, four
tracks. If you do that send it my way. I love it when people
produce stuff like this, OD has some class stuff out too but
just in mp3, I want this shit on vinyl.
