the main thing fatties suffer from would have to be envy,
even tho they deny it to save some of what little respect
they have left.

This is an interesting topic. Whats interesting is that the
human body has a huge capacity, really like any other mammal
to store huge amounts of energy that is fat. And it is
really because if you go back 10s of thousands of years, you
needed the ability to store fat because you didn't know when
you next meal came. So fat storing is really a built in
survival mechanism but in the modern world food is very
abundant and so thats why certain people get bigger and
bigger and lets face it the older you get fat storage
becomes pretty prevelant anyways.

hedfire- "why keep talking like you have something to say?
you're fat
and i have offended you."

and yet you will not take issue with what i have said. am i
supposed to be persuaded by insults?

why not answer my simple questions?

how many chances should a person who you think is
disgustingly fat get to make themselves acceptable to you?

how many chances should you get to overcome your own
faults?

what should we do when you are out of chances but still have
faults?

plaidzebra: i'm jujst a fuckin troll please don't take me
too seriously. and make a statement once in awhile, speaking
in questions is for religious gurus and religous gurus
only.

actually i just had a thought which could possibly
contrradict everything i've said thusfar. what if fatties
are suffer from depression which is caused by a chemcial
im\balance and is out of their control? and the depression
take away their motivation making them fat. i am depressed
and semi-lazy but not to the point of digusting fatness. so
my apologies to the depressed fatties, but please go get
some anti-depressants or sumping

Fat storing is a biologicial mechanism but we no longer live
in an age where you are literally on the edge of survival
with every passing day. We don't live in a time any longer
where you have to chase and hunt down prey accross planes.

hedfire, whether or not depression is the result of
"chemical imbalance" or whether or not obesity is the
"fault" of the obese is not the issue at all.

I do kinda think that the whole being, the whole way in
which we are, it all links in with motivation. And a lot of
motivation comes from difficulties people have whether it be
lack of confidence, being overweight, being underweight,
being ugly or whatever.

If the future begins to resolves everyone's real or
'supposed' defects, my fear is that the motivation for
people to prove themselves will go. I really fear the future
development of designing babies etc etc and how it will
effect the general balance of the survival of the fitest,
the evolutionary spirit and all the other paradigms which
motivate and push forward the human race. Discuss.

hedfire, again, don't assume that i assume you are serious.
you're a teenager testing the waters. i'm interested in
those waters you're testing.

again, i am not concerned with whether or not obesity is the
"fault" of the obese. i'm concerned with judgement, attack,
and self-destructive beliefs.

whether or not you, hedfire, take this seriously isn't
particularly important to me.

uncontrollable urge to troll this board. actually plaidzebra
you seem like a cool person with a sharp intellect and a
rational mind and on any other day i would love to have a
serious conversation with you but right now i just can't.
must.......act......like...........assclown........!

(so yeah no hard feelings and the part about
self-destructive beliefs will give me something to think
about later but i'm sure my feeble mind it's in intoxicated
state won't make anything of it)

As im finding it harder to squeeze my body through,
That doesnt mean that i wont be eating anymore,
I think ill call the construction guys to build a bigger
door.

"fat ppl make humanity look really bad.

Do you want that on your shoulders?"

they don't make anyone but themselves "look bad" and it's
only aesthetically..
you might say that they are hogging all the food and causing
world hunger, but most everyone, even thin people, waste
food, don't donate anything, or generally don't care about
people who are starving..

saying that they make society as whole bad, not taking in
account who they are as a person, makes about as much sense
as saying "people with moustaches make humanity look bad."

well aliens would think we all look ugly no matter what..

without growing up in our society why would they
automatically perceive bigger as ugly?
you know it wasn't too long ago on the human
existence-timeline that extra fat was deemed attractive by
society. back then you would need to be wealthy to have any
sort of paunch..
it seems, whatever the circumstances, society will find
beauty in whatever form is more difficult to maintain given
those circumstances.

anyway. Some good replies, too much trash though. A trash
first post will generate more trash, someone's welcome to
make a civilzed topic about ''big people'' if they want
though. A big friendly slap on the ass to the people who
contributed some thoughful stuff in here, but the topic
sucks, so:
