Richard D James said that he would do new material in about 3 years. He said this when he released Windowlicker in 1999. So hopefully this year or next Richard will give the fans a new Ep or album. Thats What we all want? |

I think I read something about why he won't release anything. Most of the songs he makes or made (I can't remember which) and he really liked were/are REALLY unaccesible and he thinks everyone will hate it. That said it is probably like the equation, which is quite difficult listening, although I've only heard half the song mind you. Also, he might have learned from peoples reactions, or poking around messageboards, that people don't like it. He probably does however make the odd few normal song which he will gather and stick together in an album sometome or another. But at the same time, they have to be good songs, cause Joyrex said he wouldn't want to release something he didn't think was good. So he's getting a bit figity and will probably release something consisting of songs he's been making for the past few years in his prison cell (unless that wasn't true, then he'd be doing it at home). I do believe he will release something, but because he is just doing it for fun, he will do it when he bloody wants to. |
