I don't have much else to do, so I was looking on the Rolling Stone website about the beatles... they rated just about every real beatles album 5 stars... now really, they're good, and obviously they one or two, or even three maybe deserve that, but it makes you wonder in they give all of them 5 stars if they actually think that of the album, or if they are simply praising them because after all, they are the beatles... Bah, Rolling Stone magazine sucks ass... |

I'm sure if the beatles put mics up their asses and farted for 45 min and released it on cd, rolling stone would blow each other off and write an 8 page review praising every second of it. I hate it when people like music just because its released by a specific group. I myself am not afraid to say that some of aphex's music sucks ass, but the good outweighs the bad (by alot). |

yeah I agree 1010-1111-10... some of Aphexs music sucks ass, as does some of the Beatles music... and even though I love Aphex Twin, and think he is one of the best artists around, I can say "Yeah, that song sucks" and stuff... to impress me anyways, it's the music that counts, not the band... although I'll buy everything (or try to anyways) that Aphex Twin releases, if it sucks, it sucks... |

yeah, I don't get critics, especially the ones from Rolling Stone... they critisize Lenny Kravitz because he sounds too retro, and then they praise a band like The Strokes and compare them to the Velvet Underground saying they have saved rock and roll... |

well, Are You Gonna Go My Way is a pretty sweet song... no I'm not a huge fan, and he's pretty shitty now in my opinion, but he had some ok songs... I'm just saying that really, both Lenny Kravitz, and The Strokes are pretty retro in their music, and Rolling Stone condemns Lenny for it, and praises The Strokes... it's stupid... |
