I only realized Canada has a new prime minister the other
day... crazy... thank God though, cause Jean Cretien was
getting on my nerves...

I need to get home! :)

Jean Chretien was a street fightin', ass-kickin prime
minister. He was his own security guard, grabbing riffraff
by the neck and forcing them out of his way, subduing
would-be assassins with knives at 24 sussex drive with
nothing but a soapstone carving...

He also had the balls to stand up to that pussy idjit W when
it came to Iraq.

Three cheers for Chretien - the Canadian economy is ticking
along and he managed not to fuck up anything too badly
during his reign, which is more than you can say for most
other world leaders.

I just didn't like the guy... you are right though about the
standing up to Bush and the US... the new guy says he wants
to improve relations with the US... ie, stick their dick
back in our mouth!

yeah fleetmouse, i liked him too.... that little street
fightin' guy
i liked the way he talked to reporters.. he seemed more
'real' than most polititians...

Funkmaster: i think Martin has already bitched at the
americans for only giving iraq reconstruction contracts to
supporters of the war

really? You actually liked how he talked to reporters? That
was one of my main reasons for hating the guy... I always
got the feeling like he knew he was unbeatable, and so he
used to appear like the most arrogant and condesending
person ever wenever I saw him on tv... shrug, maybe it's
just me...

and yeah, I heard about that, about the reconstruction
contracts...

''He was his own security guard, grabbing riffraff by the

Absolutely. I'm gonna miss his kung-fu hijinks and bulldog
visage. Paul Martin is kind of boring, at least the name
''Jean'' was very Canady-ish. And there's a guy named Paul
Martin on the New Jersey Devils, that's going to bother me.

in the end, i liked Chretien quite a bit... i'm not looking
forward to Martin... but i suppose nothing will really
change too much...

yeah, I don't even bother voting... well I couldn't this
time anyways, but I'm 21 and I have never voted yet... who
really cares? Whatever party gets in, it's going to be
basically the same thing... it's like like you have a
communist party or nazi part actually vying for the
government...

Jean Chretien ruled. He was a true Canadian. The last thing
I want to see is some shitball turning Canada into the
United states of guns and rape.

fungus, did you miss the steady decline chretien has caused
canada?
chretien was the worst thing to happen to canada since
trudue
chretien has fucked up canada something fierce for the last
ten years and now king martin will continue the legacy of
incompetance and arrogance

Whatever, Jean did a great job with what he had. Brian
Mulroney wasn't that great, and Trudue was a fantastic PM
compared to Diefenbaker. Jean did an good job compared to
what state we were in before. How do you know that Martin
will screw up our country anyway?! Are you miss cleo or
something?

Let spread his wings a little Pengwin.

i dont think you have been following chretien to closely
over the years

he has single handly shown how to make a big fucking mockery
out of the democratic system
he arrogantly strut around with pride that he ruled canada
as a dictator
chretien fucked canada every which was and the economy has
been going to the fucking bottom ever since trudeu went
fucking ballistic with spending and chretien picked right up
on that. alberta is the only province doing good in canada,
and thats becuase of klein.
fucking chretien.
makes me angry

I don't know a whole lot about politics... and strangely
enough, I probably know more about American politics, then
Canadian, my own country (damn CNN)... but I was really sick
of Cretien and the liberals... maybe Martin won't be any
better, but I'm glad for a change myself...
