look on the bright side at least promo's 'lol' frequency has gone down lately. As for the track, it's not really my kind of thing. Interesting in parts but way too broken up. There's no constant 'theme' it just seems pretty random to me. You obviously know how to layer beats and 'melodies' so maybe it's time to group them to for a conherant whole. Just my 2¤s. Not like I know anything! :) |

There has been some really bad stuff the past month or so, far worse than I've seen before. This has resulted in a "clamping down" which means that things like this and exxalion's link to suicidegirls the other day got closed whereas before we probably would of let it slide. It's a lot easier when there's a "zero tolerance" policy... less bitching by people when they get banned too. Alberto, this answers your question too... Sometimes the mods miss things, if people are offended by something like you described, they should mail the moderators and we'll look into it. Thanks to the people who've given me heads up about this sort of thing in the past few days. One last thing, I'm aware that it's me doing most of the closing/post deleting/banning, but I can assure you it's not me on a power trip... the other mods are simply not about much at the moment. I know I have Phobiazero's full support and in fact he has even said that there should be no links to anything questionable at all- warning or not... |

Yup... as usual, people have taken things too far and ruined it for everyone. Remember about a year back when people found out how to use html in posts? It was tolerated for a bit, but then people started doing it to extremes and it resulted in all html bar a few text formating commands being disabled. Same with this, most people don't mind the odd risque humourous site provided it's properly referenced as such so they won't get into trouble or if they are easily offended they can choose not to click it. People took the piss and started putting really bad stuff that could get people into serious trouble at work or school, not to mention being well outside even my warped boundries of "good taste". As a result, the current situation has come about. |
