This is a long story... Once upon a time I worked at staples the business depot. I was a computer sales men. The costumers loved me. I worked there for 2 years. One of the benefits I received was the EMPLOYEE PURCHASE PLAN. I bought a computer on this and everything is fine. So a year goes by ... One day I go to the Warprecords website and see that my favorite producer in the whole wide world, the one and only SQUAREPUSHER is playing on the same continent I live on!!! So I naturally go to work that day and book off the date. I ask for this day off ONE MONTH in advance. They gotta let me have it right? Like even Satan would give a day off one month in advance. |

So during this time period on the other side of town they are building a new Staples Business depot. I had asked to get a transfer because It was closer to my house. The transfer went through, so in early July I started to pull in hundreds of insanely palettes into the new store (being very underpaid {6.50} and over worked {50 hours and only the new store paid me for 30*}). Anyway I found out I wasn't getting the days off (I guess 1 month is to short of notice). Soooo ... FUCK THAT. I'm going to go see Squarepusher. |

Oh no,but wait ... I need to make my final payment of $80 on my computer which I purchased. I talked to my old boss who visited the new store and he told me to "Just go to the old store and leave the money with one of the managers and we will fix you up." Ok cool shit! So I go to the old store and pay 80$ to the new sales manager who said "I'll put it in the safe with a note on it". Also the HEAD of the computer department witnessed this as well. 2 people of high ranking staples ninja status are proof to my payment. Cool beans! I payed everything off, I stopped showing up for work, and I goto Montreal to see Squarepusher and Luke Vibert. I had a blast! |

A Month later I get a letter from citi financing. Its an invoice for that money. I call them and tell them everything. The guy on the phone said he'd fix it and that was that. PHEW! SEVERAL MONTHS LATER I get another Invoice. I called and told the operator my story. The operator told me that since I didn't have any "VALID" proof on paper my word means crap. Not his fault but mine and I understand that. I was very mislead (Please refer to "...leave it with one of the managers and we will fix you up"). Sooooooo in conclusion I am fucked over again by another huge company (Please refer to ) and yeah this sucks balls. Score one for the huge corps! YEAH!!!! (Cue the Imperial march theme) |

* Since the store was still being built PUNCH CLOCKS were not installed as of yet. All the hours were written in a state of the art device called a notebook. Apparently most of the hours were miscalculated and there were many variances. Ahhh but once again I have no papers to prove all of this so I was fucked out of that too :| |
