They all seem to be a bit close to one and another. Maybe its me but very few films really get me these days.
The Lord of the Rings trilogy has been A1 for sure but compared to other classics such as Terminator and Alien thats tough. Oh and I haven't and don't want to watch T3 'cause it sux.

promo - youd be doing yourself a huge injustice not to see T3. I think it might surprise you, it did me :)

T3 is ok, not something I will watch again though. It's no-where near as good as the first two.

from what i've heard Return of the King is the best in the Trilogy, which is some achievment considering how good the first two are.

agreed.
it was pretty much a different kind of movie than the previous two. it was much less tense, or technical, or something... it's hard to put my finger on it, but it didn't have the same feel. it was more of a typical arnie action flick. which, isn't nessecarily bad - it was entertaining - but, it wasn't really a terminator series type movie.

T3 had a great chase scene. Most of the rest of it was blockbuster bullshit. T1 will always be unbeatable.
I'm currently watching the Twin Towers EE cast commentary, fairly amusing if you're a commentary fiend like myself.

it's going to rule... I'm debating whether or not to see it here in Holland on the 17th, or wait till I get home a few days after that... I'll probably wait, just cause I don't want any stupid subtitles!
