It started after i saw Statanstornade GIG in berlin. Masami
Akita(MERZBOW) and
Rusell Huswell did great job. I`ve started reading about
Masami Akita and collect his records. Now i can`t imagine
my life without listening to his noise. There is no ,more
complex music genere than noise. It`s even not music because
it has no rythm, melody , words it`s perfect if you want to
gate away from your problems ,stop thinking and relax.
I recomend MERZBOW to anyone who searches for something new
in music (or how to call that is burned/pressed on cd/lp?).

noise is a great addition to other music i listen to, and i
like it a lot...akita and russell are definitely my
favourite noisers, i saw russell live this year and he
kicked ass, it gets so much better on big speakers...
im looking forward on seeing akita now...

i was listening to hasswell at over 40 degrees C under a
tent, so that was a pretty wicked experience as well :)

i've seen sound "artists" mic a box of matches and shake it
around for 30 minutes... i think a lot of whats considered
noise art is just... hideously crap.

im not trying to disagree with you really, my opinion is
just based on my experience so far... im open for new
things... but this white noise thing i dont dig at all... i
like noise as in calming ambient noise... my first label
release is on a compilation full of it, but when it comes to
some shit... you gotta admit the genre is 90% people without
a clue, trying to annoy people.

Yes, the musical equivalent of tracy emin... playing the art
card doesn't make something which is :
a) boring and unpleasent to listen to
and
b) not hard to do
into something worth listening to.

Not refering to Merzbow specifically... just a lot of noise
"artists" are gash.

so it must be for a reason... i'll look forward to hearing
him play.
