saw mike patton live last night in adelaide ('geek show';
tomahawk+fantomas+melvins).

goddamn. fucking awesome; patton's nuts; tomahawk were
great, as i expected, fantomas were brilliant. (melvins were
okay, but they took too damn long).

patton rules. anybody that can make a living out of making
strange noises deserves respect.

i had no idea who he was before. then i saw tool, and this
weird band "tomahawk" opened the show.

i really liked the signer's energy and presence on the
stage, and he was dressed as a cop.

when tomahawk's mit gas came out, i bought and really loved
it. definitely one of my favorite albums of 2003.

heh, he was dressed as a texas ranger in this show.
tomahawk opening for tool would have ruled; we got melvins
(and they played fucking awful) for the last tour, and the
tour before that some really awful aussie band full of 50
year olds with beer guts and no talent, singing songs with
no relevance at all to tool. they were truly awful.

mit gas is great, indeed.

Patton is great. I have seen Mr. Bungle 2 times now and mike
changed into at least 6 outfits each show. I also him
sing/scream with The Dillinger Escape Plan doing a cover of
Come To Daddy. It was very cool and more disturbing version
of Daddy IMO. I like the Tomahawk stuff too.

with a blue streak dwn his head/face.

maybe maynard copied him? he pulled some poses straight from
manson, and i thought...poser. but he's still bad ass, even
if he's struggling for his theatrical image.
