You can do it with soundforge or on the fly with kontakt...
unfortunately, results may be shittier than you would like.

yeah... i'd like to point out some little ocd problem i have
with this thread

pitch = tone and tempo
so you meant
change tone, w/out changing tempo/speed/whatever

i'm an asshole

buh...
also- there are like 40 other ways you can do it, w/ out
even touching (FORKING) sonic foundry products, recycle for
instance, if you break it down into a phrase just alter the
pitch of the individual slices
also you could just facsimilate the sequence, as opposed to
stealing from whoever it is you're stealing from

...

yeah...
that's about all i've got to say, think i'm gonna get back
to that book

Soundforge and Acidpro (sonic foundry) can do it. Just
offset pitchsemitone + or -.

Oh man, I just realized i intended to name this thread
'change speed without pitch', but they seem to both be
incorporated into the same thing, ehh....

Well, here's a little crappy 'drum track' spam. It's no
song, just a drum track.

time stretched

sorry.

There's a great winamp DSP effect add-on called "Pacemaker"
that I've used for the past couple of years. It's great,
you can change tempo, speed and pitch in real-time, and
compare with a single click to the original track.

When you slow down Drukqs drill&base tracks, you can really
understand how Richard arranges his tracks. Most of those
sounds are truly drum-based percusions.

yeah, that's nice. if you hadnt said it's just drums i
wouldnt have noticed because of the low sounds, also it's
glitch anyway. its a bit short.
i only have drumtracks uploaded as well, i have to rip 'em again though. your's is
better i guess, it's just fun anyhow. see ya.
btw it sucks those deadmurder files dont automatically open
on my mac, in quicktime
