yeah so im going to be able to showcase one of my songs for the winter music concert at my school. this is those concerts where the kids do the piano recitals in front of their parents and the orchestra plays and what not. and IIIII get to fuck with all of them. I'm going with one of my best songs to date, Two Minutes Inside my Head, but ive added a freaky intro, kinda just a warning of what these people get into. im also kept it a little queit to make damn sure that they have it pumped over the speakers when they play it. please, download the new mix of the song, even if you downloaded the original. i made some good slight tweaks to the actualy song as well, basically made it MORE intense. alrighty so that was a long music spam, so here's the link finally! o yeah and incase youre wondering what exactly im saying (i tried my best to make is audible, cuz i want people to actually understand it) here's that: What you are about to hear is a piece called "Two Minutes Inside my Mind." It is a musical interpretation of the life of an idea. It is born, it many forms and shapes, but in the end collapses into sudden chaos, and then a calm. But an idea doesn't grow, it just comes to you, like that! |

Hahaha. The intro is great, in a cheesy way. Shit man, what speed's this at? :D I really like the way the synths at the beginning appear to be incredibly random, cutting in and out. Very cool. The rest of the melodies are wonderful... when they appear to be becoming predictable, there's a sudden random key change, which should be wrong, but it works nicely. As for the breaks... well, this is drill'n'bass at its most drilly. The sudden slow-down at 1.15 is a nice touch, but I definitely prefer the really fast stuff. Hahaha. This really is insane. :D Great stuff. It's all over the place, random synths, drum sounds changing completely throughout the track, yet it doesn't get irritating or lose its direction. In fact, it benefits from the constant change. I really want to see the reactions this gets. Man, I wish I was still at school, I'd do something like this. :D |
