Aphex Twin-lost his touch?

he used to release like 5 or 6 albums/eps back in the early
ninetees... but then since 1997 its very few releases
like 1 each 2 years

drukqs was excellent (my favourite) but its true that
smojphace (even though I like it) its maybe his worst thing
so far

nothing wrong with that. 2 years is usually the time that
takes artists to release album. 4-6 albums a year is
actually pretty crazy. you just have to accept that the man
has settled down to normal album-putout standards :}

we dont want him to be normal. putting out the same number
of records as everyone else may be satisfactory, but theres
no denying hes lost his touch.

well, one album yes. i thought you were maybe meaning
eps/singles too. cause he's never released 5-6 albums in one
year.

come to daddy was released 1997. there was windowlicker in
1999 and one great video!

wasn't drukqs release in 2002?

and if you see... its not only a matter of quantity

cos the quality in the years 90-96 is groundbreaking

i think come to daddy and windowlicker were groundbreaking.

drukqs and 2remixes were quality, maybe not all
goundbreaking.

so i disagree. the only differene is the quantity between
those 2 periods. that's ofcourse my opinion

of course ctd and windowlicker and drukqs are pure genious
too

I just said that the previous period with such a lot of
releases was not only quantity, it had lots of quality too
(saw I and II, icbyd, abb3, habs, rdj...)

well, the fact that he was releasing much more some years
ago isnt that strange really...we all have less time these
days :) and i think he's doing way more live shows than he
did years ago, so him releasing that littles is only normal
imo

thi, i wish he'd release a new album each month :)

No you think he lost his touch and no everyone believes it.
Everyone is going to listen to Barbara Streisand The Way We
Were on 12" on repeat from now on and it is all because of
you!
