care!! Everyone has to send in pictures, it will be well
good.

TuneFish from T.O. on 2001-02-26 14:39 [#00000532]

Hanibal has an Aphex grin? Must see.

Phobiazero from Sweden on 2001-02-26 14:41 [#00000533]

Can you really see the grin behind the "mask"? =)

Robert J. Jackson from Austin, Texas on 2001-02-26 19:48 [#00000542]

Speaking of video, does anybody know how I could possibly
get my hands on "flex" by any chance. If they distribute it
on DVD (the 90's have officially ended), I would like to get
ahold of it. I still haven't seen it to begin with. I
thought I might be able to see just a little of it at the
Chris Cunningham site, but no go.

SWAI from Denmark on 2001-02-26 19:52 [#00000544]

whats that shit ive heard about it being a half porno movie
or something!?

hevquip from somewhere in the u.s. on 2001-02-26 20:31 [#00000547]

fight club was a good movie. do any of you have the
soundtrack done by the dustbrothers? it's a good cd. too bad
they dont produce normal albums.

TuneFish from T.O. on 2001-02-26 22:16 [#00000551]

Dust Brothers? That is Chemical Brothers' alias. And they
produce albums, I dunno if they are normal or weird, I like
them :-)

hedtwin from manchester on 2001-02-27 00:59 [#00000561]

Are dust brothers and chemical brothers the same group? That
is well good. Teh figth club sound track is amazing. I have
it all on MP3. Although i do plan on buying it, when i have
money, which is unlikely to be any time soon :-(. Oh well.

Rik from Cambs, UK on 2001-02-27 09:39 [#00000572]

Dustbrothers are not the Chemical Brothers. But the
Chemicals used to be called that. Dustbrothers are
Americans. And they reg'ed the name first.. So that's why
the Chem's renamed...... Complicated. ;-)

I don't think much to the fight club sountrack.. Although
it worked excellently in the film. Top class.

hexane on 2001-02-27 12:10 [#00000576]

chemical brothers did do the soundtrack...but the songs in
the movie were written in the days they were call dust bros.
i think that is right.

has anyone got some of the original dust albums? apparently
they stopped producing them after the discovery of the
'name' thing. or was it sampling issues i cannot quite
remember

Rik from Cambs, UK on 2001-02-27 12:31 [#00000578]

Nooooo... The soundtrack was done by the american dust
brothers.. It's a pretty recent film. 97 or something..

Album Exit Planet Dust is sold as a Chemical Brothers
album.. Some EPs can't be rereleased cos of sample issues,
but MP3s are around I reckon..

To make it more confusing, there's dust brothers remix of a
chemicals track and vice versa. ;-)

Robert J. Jackson from Austin, Texas on 2001-02-27 17:39 [#00000585]

You sillies, the Chemical brothers and the Dust brothers are
two entirely different couples. The Dust Brothers do most of
their work producing, mixing, and such (i.e. Odelay). The
Chemical Brothers have nothing to do with that soundtrack.
The soundtrack is good, but it's most prominent moments are
about a minute long. Such a shame.
Anyway, "flex" is Chris Cunningham's and Richard D. James'
latest collaboration and is Cunningham's first short film.
It premiered at an art exhibit this last September, yet has
been unavailable elsewhere, as far as I know. The film is
about domestic violence, if I've been informed correctly,
and contains a lot of extreme sexual gratuity, as well as
exagerrant superhero physiques.
Whatever it's about, Chris Cunningham made it, and I want to
see it. I guess it's a matter of time before they release in
some shape or form. Anything that man makes is worth waiting
for, so I will.

hedtwin from manchester on 2001-02-28 01:07 [#00000598]

i think figth club was 1999, i could go downstairs and look
at the box, but i can't be arsed! My mates uncle is the tour
manager for teh chemical brothers (bit of a freind of a
friend type thing here). i will get my mate to ask his uncle
if tehre is any connection between dust brotehrs et le
chemical brothers.

hevquip from mbanahanej on 2001-02-28 02:00 [#00000601]

i know that the dust brothers helped the chemical brothers
produce their last cd. they (chemical brothers) said so in
an interview they did on mtv a while back. the only music
the dust brothers do are soundtracks, that i know of. they
did a song on the x-files soundtrack and they composed the
soundtrack for muppets in space.
