live that is i saw him 2 times so far and i wouldnt mind seeing him 100 times more the italian guys really seem to love him, most of the italians that cam on this festival a while ago were there because of lory, and who could blame them, he's brilliant... i found this comment using google (its taken from another forum), made by someone who participated to that gig in rome. he made a comparison with venetian snares - well i actually loved snares, but i prefered lory " Lory-D live: BRILLIANT!!!! what a live-set! this guy has an amazing sound ! all the sounds this guy uses are PERFECT ! funny to see him dressed in good old 'italo gigolo' manner with black sunglasses > top ! without any discussion Lory D was the highlight of the festival for me... mjam mjam, give me more ! what really pisses me off the most is that he was/is planned for the ko10 last year (or is it allready 2years ?? hrhrh) and this still didn't happened anyway, i hope that a lot of people heard this guy and gonna book him all over the world ! - Venetian snares live was 'this guy' mixing whit his own numbers on cd. a lot of tracks i never heard but hnestly it doesn't interests me anymore. his attitude is really ridiculous. he should have better listened and looked to the lory d performance before him. stopped his performance, throwing his mixer, reclaiming a new one (otherwise stopping), throwing a beer in 'his' audience... just forget it" any other fans aroud here? |

lory d was one of the first italian's electronic musician. Lory D, Leo Anibaldi, Marco Passarani and D'Arcangelo was the pioneer of electronic music in Rome and a good alternative to London music. |

i read that site some time ago, it looks like lory forgot a little about it, nothing new on there unfortunately...hopefully there are going to be 15 new dates in the tour section soon :) |
