tolstoyed as you have this album I would ask you a favour:

tell me what numbers or letters you see in the cd itself,
but in the back part (playing surface) right near the hole
of the cd

I have the suspicion that this is really a cdr

otherwise I cannot understand how the tracks dont flow from
one to another but instead they stop and start with every
new track, but the sound reveals that it was intended to
sound all in one... so now its kind of strange in every
track change cos it stops and goes like with one second gap

does this happen to you?
you can see it clearly between tracks 4 and 5, but it
happens in almost every track change

probably burned with the 2 second standard trackspacing

yeah but its supposed to be an original..., it comes in
digipack and all with the correct bar code in the case

(but with no bar code in the cd, just this: 01788AA7)

but the cd has artwork too... and it says u-cover16, but its
printed i the front

mine says "01788AA7" too
(it was directly ordered from u-cover, btw)

does this help?

it helps yeah

and ucover emailed me (I ordered there too) explaining to me
that it was a quench´s mistake of production that they only
noticed when the cd had been released

thanks

yeah, i used to like that sort of stuff i think..got real
tired of it or something. just not in a mood for it
anymore..it has that a bit too warm feel to it.

the first thing i do is rip it to mp3. i rarely play albums
in the usual way, so yes, the gaps were totally unnoticed

well done nacmod. you've proven yourself to be the idm-uber
geek ;)
