It doesn't turn off though, everything works fine, it's
just happened twice in the last month, like two weeks
between, it's like a split second, sszzzt, it's like when
the power goes half off, really quick, on a television, I
don't want to die, I don't want a new computer, I like this
computer....

I too have an imac, its happend to me as well (just got a
new 867 G4 w/studio display)... are you connected to the
internet through an airport , if soo you monitor might be
picking up the radio frequencies, update your airport setup
(its at the apple site), at least thats what it was in my
case...... or else, you sould take it to an apple store....
one of the new ones sprouting up all over now, or take it to
a apple certified computer repair place, be carful though
there are some people that think apple is no different then
a pc and just open it up and fuck it up, imac parts are so
close together it really takes someone who knows the machine
to repair it
get some more info at the apple site try their support

hope this helps
dont DIE !
