I think she probably is. Certainly the most musical for my part. I like her style its punchy and to the point. Real shame she hasn't does any new tracks.

I don't care for her stuff much although admittedly I've only heard a few tracks of hers. Can you recommend one particular release by her?
Leila still has the "Queen of IDM" crown in my opinion.

eric_hard_jams,
Not a lot but 'I love my computer' is a brilliantly simple good time electronic record. I think she has got the right formula and for once I think here is a girl who can actually compete with the boys musically.

I love my computer is definately one of the poorest cd's in my record collection. A total waste of money I think.

Mmm thats a shame I quite like it. I like the simple nature of it. It does sound very homemade. It sounds like its been put to tape and then put direct to vinyl CD which as I understand is exactly what happened. Personally I've heard a lot of boring records by comparison. I mean it may not be the most technically advanced record ever made but its certainly not the point. For me its about simple and effective homemade studio electronic tracks and this really optimises this release.

Bump.
Mira Calix has not impressed me. Lektrogirl creates tunes you can whistle to so check her out.

Never heard of Lektrogirl...
I've always fancied Neotropic's first CD a lot....very FSOL-esque.
