..pretty much all the time. just sitting, staring,
thinking, for hours, until you fall asleep, and you're aware
of the fact that you're not getting anywhere, yet you remain
still and think it all over again.

why am i doing this, and what do i have to do to make it
stop? and yeah maybe i need professional help, but you guys
usually give rock solid advice to everyone about so many
things.

i wont bother you all with a list of things that make me
feel like this, because i wouldnt know where to begin.

i wouldnt usually complain like this, but i think my
hangover got me in this mood. sorry.

yes...

when i think about how i was when i was younger, and that
the memories are still here in my head and in other people's
heads too, not to mention the fact that i haven't changed
that much probably, i want to slap and punch myself in the
face.

but most of the time fortunately i imagine other fancied
lives for me in another reality with me in another body and
personality in another world etc... where it's all much
better, with peace, love, beauty, no problems and all.

i'm daydreaming all the time.
and i like it.

fuck reality.

hey, now i really feel like banging my head against a door
or a wall, but not because i'm thinking of my past - just
because i feel a bit weird and... haha i'm starting to laugh
for no reason now

bah =)
deathclock doesn't make me feel anything at all.

it isn't sad, it isn't funny, it is nothing... just a bare
estimation, you can get one by yourself, and it is just an
estimation you could die much younger (or older)...

what would be maybe more disturbing is something like.....
you'd send pictures of yourself... and then they'd make a
photo of yourself dead, in a scene like you'd been shot or
something, a reconstitution of your own death! that'd be
weird! =)

seeing a photo of a dead person who'd look exactly as you.

i've been to that site before, but like uzim said, it doesnt
really do anything to me.

i dont really care about death. it has nothing to do with
how my life is now.

and fuck. this whole thread seems pointless to me already.
today feels like a sunday.

without the lows, how are we expected to appreciate the
highs?

good point. but the highs seem out of reach if you know what
i mean.

last night i went to a fucking excellent jungle party and i
danced my ass off because i love the music and the venue,
and the beer. but thats only a moment of happiness.

its 4:30 pm now and i already feel like drinkin a beer
again.

*sob*

...cigarettes....

weed is a temporary solution but will just make you more
depressed in the end

it's good to talk some more, get it off your chest, please
spill your guts

"without the lows, how are we expected to appreciate the
highs?"

> not being able to appreciate the highs if you don't get
lows is a low too...
as long as we're in a total hypothetic mode without caring
about reality, we could have highs and appreciate them
without any lows.

i think what you're doing now is good... just drink away
your problems... i don't have all that many... ok i have
tons, and i drink them away... and when i'm not drunk, i'm
asleep, or doing something i love. what are your problems,
if you don't mind me asking, and thy're not too personal...
maybe if people knew your problems they could give you
advice... but i'm sure mine would be drinking to whatever it
is...

ok, if you insist.. here goes..

-i'm seriously fucking up school (academy for visual arts)
because i cant get myself to do something and i dont know
why because i really want to. this will be the 3rd time i
mess something up as i've tried 2 different studies before.
i'm 23 now and i reckon its about time i start something and
finish it, if not for myself, then for my dad who pays for
nearly everything.

- i feel alone. i want to be alone, and i dont. i love being
alone. but i need a girl. and that girl is on the other side
of the planet in canada and it could be years before i see
her.

those are the 2 main things i guess. i would do something i
love (other than drinking or going to jungle parties), if i
could find the energy for it. i'm always tired, i cant make
decisions, i feel guilty etc..

its all pretty typical i suppose. i suppose all this is a
form of depression. tho i wouldnt say that i'm unhappy in
general.

yeah i think i'll go get a beer. music is my friend at the
moment.

cheers

no no.. its ok to moan at times

if you just discuss your problems w/ some people

and find a way to change your life in the direction you
want.
start with small things. if yer really depressed just goin
out and buying a record could help ya..

it wont go away in a week, but the only one that can help
you is you i think

oh and drinking does NOT solve your problems

grandpa jaroens 2 cents

"oh and drinking does NOT solve your problems"

That's the TRUTH.

All I can say is don't let drugs and alcohol take over your
life. It's not solving anything.

heh. thanks kid ;)

yeah buying a cd helps somewhat (last week found
rollercoaster part 3 for 5 euros (drum&bass mix cd mixed by
drum origins) between the usual shit that they have at the
dance section, yay).

and yea alcohol doesnt help, but this beer just tastes good

p.s: omfg k_maty is in this thread. wtf

i stole this from someone

If we could shrink the earth's population to a village of
precisely 100 people, with all the existing human ratios
remaining the same, it would look something like the
following: There would be:
57 Asians
21 Europeans
14 from the Western Hemisphere, both north and south
8 Africans
52 would be female
48 would be male
70 would be non-white
30 would be white
70 would be non-Christian
30 would be Christian
89 would be heterosexual
11 would be homosexual

6 people would possess 59% of the ntire world's wealth and
all 6 would be from the United States.
80 would live in substandard housing
70 would be unable to read
50 would suffer from malnutrition
1 would be near death; 1 would be near birth 1 (yes, only 1)
would have a college education 1 would own a computer

When one considers our world from such a compressed
perspective, the need for acceptance, understanding and
education becomes glaringly apparent.

If you woke up this morning with more health than
illness...you are more blessed than the million who will not

survive this week.

If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the
loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the
pangs of starvation...you are ahead of 500 million people in
the world.

If you can attend a church meeting without fear of
harassment, arrest, torture, or death...you are more blessed

than three billion people in the world.

If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back,
a roof overhead and a place to sleep...you are richer than
75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare
change in a dish someplace ... you are among the top 8% of
the world's wealthy.

If your parents are still alive and still married... you are
very rare, even in the United States and Canada.

If you can read this message, you just received a double
blessing in that someone was thinking of you, and
furthermore, you are more blessed than over two billion
people in the worl

bullshit? how come?
j198, what helps for me is focussing on the good parts by
writing a diary or livejournal. it puts your lif in another
perspective and allows you to cope with all the bad stuff. i
bet that writing in this thread made you feel better already

our planet is populated by ghosts of apes scuttling through

there is no well-being, no education to take seriously,

just contingency & irony

move on from the girl who is in canada (if you haven't). a
long distance relationship is not a good idea for anyone.

apart from that, sounds like you have depression. go get
help, you can get free help most likely, even free
medication if you're lucky. i'm getting free medication for
depression. the clinic i go to gives free samples
indefinatly, all that is required is checkups a couple times
a year.
you can't do art things? when i started taking meds for
depression i made more art in the first few months than the
past few years.

oh and about that canadian girl: i cant let her go because

like that and i'm too stubborn to realize that its nearly
impossible.

what good is being in love with someone hundreds of miles
away? you could probably wait for her, but would she wait
for you? she's in ANOTHER COUNTRY. if she was truly in love
with you she would still be with you. it's time to move on.
