for nes and snes stuff try vimm.net although there
maybe a download limit of one rom perday or something, i
haven't used it for a while.

www.planetemu.net

Try Gens for Megadrive and ZSNES for SNES. They're almost
perfect.

suprnova.org has complete...things. with all the games and

KGen (genesis emulator) was a good one in my experience...
and Nesticle (nes).... it seems like they kinda ran into
some legal issues a few years back with the whole emulator
thing...

Here's what I use and what you'll probably want:

NES: FCE Ultrra
SNES: Snes9x
GENESIS: GENS

head to ZOPHAR'S DOMAIN for a wide selection of emulators,
including overview and insight on each one's performance and
operation.

KGen is great if you have a slow computer, but otherwise,
Gens is much better.

snes9x is easy to use and has the 'snapshot' feature which
is essential when playing tricky games that take a long
time. mind you probably all of them do.
