i dont know about you, but it kind of annoys me that they took the name, i mean arent they aware autechre (also ae) exist. i find it all a bit disrespectful but then again who cares!!!
info about this new outfit at www.sonig.com "bootleg" available at warpmart.

well autechre are autechre.. having ae as a name as well is like hogging the alphabet...
but what kind of a band is this AE? are they seeking to dupe autechre fans by this stunt or this one of those cosmic accidents?

This is like HMV which has V/VM under the aphex twin section. I even bought the help aphex twin red and blue mini cds from a bloke who assured me it was afx, i listened thought, nah not afx but ill buy it anyway, checked on here and surprise surprise it wasnt afx, but the point is if a bloke in a record shop (this wasnt hmv btw)and the savouirs of music hmv get confused, how long before autechre has ae(fake) in with it? Well, I don't care, since Im gunna call myself "Britney's pears"

It's true, seems like a cheap stunt to get people to notice them... even if they're good, they should get the exposure on the measure of their music, not people hearing their stuff thinking it's ae.
