zod records: Run by Sam Derickson(AKA Destro and Curtis
Chip's brother) even though some conservative bastards think
you're second rate, don't worry baby:they're all full of
shit anyways.

zod is awesome because of these releases: Emotional
Joystick-Eight (EP1), Curtis Chip-Eating Paste EP,
Fanny-Fear And Loathing for Dummies Part 2, Com.A-We Are The
Pervert Remixes Volume One and Two, and of course Zod
Compilation One (Zod.01), featuring venetian snares, fanny,
doormouse, and DF1/Destro.

Addict Records: run by Dan Martin (AKA Doormouse), awesome
hardcore with acts like Stuntrock and Have a Few Get Some
(brothers Marty (Abelcain/Davros) and Josh (Annonymous)),
and also the Jazzy VSnares 7" Badmitton, the best is
definately yet to come from them, in the next few months at
least: Doormouse/Venetian Snares-Skelechairs 12",
Stuntrock-Volume 3 12", Doormouse/Abelcain Split 12", the
Barn Benefit 12" compilation, and the new Venetian Snares 7"
moonglow/this bitter earth (the second in a series of i
believe 5 vsnares 7"s).

com.a also just signed to zod, and there's supposedly going
to be an Emotional Joystick/Curtis Chip collaboration
project in the works so look out for that shit

childisc - nobukazu takemuras label in kyoto japan. small,
and probably releases the most interesting electronic ive
heard in sometime (not all good, but interesting none the
less).

imputor? - owned by d and j, run it out of seattle. has
diagram of suburban chaos, halicon, aspects of physics, the
snodgrass, among others. excellent/unique stuff here.

lots others, just cant think of anything else at the moment.

them. they produce good music. =)

Once I bought a cd and there was a label on it. I appreciate
that it was very small, so once removed, the sticky left
over was barely noticable.

Ohhhhhh.......

i appreciate african dope records for what they're trying to do
for electronic music in south africa

Depends how you're defining small here. Rephlex and Warp are
small if you compare them to Sony. Addict and Zod are small
if you compare them to Rephlex and Warp. Mukow and Klove are
small if you compare them to Addict and Zod.

Oggum are pretty small and pretty cool. V/Vm aren't
warp-size but still kick ass.

how about tigerbeat6? any thoughts on this label?

personally, a lot of the artists on tigerbeat i don't really
care for, but a few i like.

i really dig lesser's c64 massive sidplay dance party
record. anyone else heard that?

i kind of enjoy kid606: ps i love you, too.

work.

I think there are way too many labels. But that doesn't
matter anyways 'cause none of them will ever sell any
records. On the subject of Zod Records I think they're
pretty second rate.

i think if you start a label these days, you gotta expect to
sell dick in terms of number of units.

this is why we give our releases away.
