Yeah, pretty wild. Did you know the french aristocracy used to intentionally eat tapeworm cysts to get tapeworms? It was so they could gorge themselves at banquets yet remain fashionably slim! I'm suprised they didn't mention the parasite that ants get, it mind controls them so they climb to the top of a blade of grass and stays there, even if the ant dies (it continues to cling on) if a sheep eats that blade of grass, the parasite will live on in the sheep, it's eggs are flushed out when the sheep empties its bowels and so the cycle continues. |
