I think he's damn funny and since i found this clip of
his upcoming movie "Anchorman" i thought i'd start a thread
to appreciate the great Will Ferrell.

He is quite the funny man. I've always loved his style of
humor. :)

I'd say saturday night live was his best days, but he's been
funny in some movies too, such as Oldschool =P

i believe that he could say anything and make it funny. I
remember a SNL sketch where his only line was "What the hell
happened!" he said it like 10 times and i kept laughing.

yeah,
it looked like a very rough cut. One of his best skits ever
though was when he played a morning news-caster and the
tele-prompter went out. I almost peed my pants watching
that one.

"The weather man is DEAD!...The Order of the Hand will
rule!"

funny funny stuff.

minimally talented.

he does seem to have a large group of fans who will laugh at
anything he does or says.. seems a bit like a Pavlovian
reaction though..

I feel great sympathy for you brother. If only you could
derive such pleasures from Will Ferrell's tom foolery do I.
you would be thusly and verily entertained.

Anus, Croc... one word: Dumbass! Even though that "MTV Movie
Awards" Matrix Parody on Disc 2 of Reloaded was totally
ruined by Ashton Timberfuck (Sean W. Scott is OK, I
guess)... Ferrell blows the skit up with his "Architect"
character parody. A classic representation of his true
comical genious. "Hot mic! We gotta hot mic here!"
hahaaaaaaaaa!!!!!

in old school, the scene where "stiffler" kicks Will back
into the pool after trying to save his life by giving him
mouth to mouth, was just one of the funniest thing ever. i
laughed for about 3 or 4 minutes.

I agree , he is a genious.

Its the way he say things , he pronounce stuff with small
funny details.

Like in this trailer for example , i laughed at the way he
said "How much time ? ......til where on?"
That pause is just so stupid hahaha!!
Small details.

"I love scotch , scotchy scotch scoch
Here it goes down
Down into my belly"

=)

yeah, he's great... SNL has never been as good as it was
with Mike Myers and the gang though... that was classic!

Heard the rumors about him playing Ignatius J. Reilly in the
movie adaptation of "Confederacy of Dunces", one of the
greatest american novel ever.
Confederacy of Dunces on amazon

"A green hunting cap squeezed the top of the fleshy balloon
of a head. The green earflaps, full of large ears and uncut
hair and the fine bristles that grew in the ears themselves,
stuck out on either side like turn signals indicating two
directions at once. Full, pursed lips protruded beneath the
bushy black moustache and, at their corners, sank into
little folds filled with disapproval and potato chip
crumbs."
