I know what you mean. How did we live without it? 56 K makes
me cringe and want to die.

Xanatos from NYC on 2001-11-27 05:15 [#00055949]

I know exactly what you are talking about. Its actually
fucking awful for me, not only do I have no patience, but I
have no discipline. I try to write a fucking paper and
after a few minutes I've already come to this website, or
see how many results i get for "three is the number of thy
counting, and the number of thy counting shall be three" in
google.

terrible, just terrible.

diesel raven - good fucking song

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2001-11-27 05:18 [#00055951]

Right on. There's an INFINTITE amount of crap on the net to
see. I want to see it all, and cable helps me achieve this
goal. I love the net.

Not to mention songs download hella fast!

Xero from USA on 2001-11-27 08:21 [#00055977]

i finished the internet

Milk Man Dan on 2001-11-27 10:01 [#00055998]

Me too, I feel that I have no where else to go, I don't even
download all that much anymore. There's only about four
sites that I visit- this one, Red Meat, and something else,
a Harmony Korine site or something....

Quoth from Lincoln on 2001-11-27 21:08 [#00056208]

Red Meat? What's the purpose of the site? I've never heard
of it... But yeah, hell of a lot faster than 56k bull shit.
When I did have 56k, the fastest the connection would be was
14.4k! LMAO=)FOKIN PATHETIC

Xanatos from NYC on 2001-11-27 21:25 [#00056212]

what's harmony korine?

The_Funkmaster from Newfoundland, Canada on 2001-11-27 21:46 [#00056220]

heh, I try to write papers, and I end up back here to this
website... I'm addicted, that's how sad my situation is...
:)

but yeah, I have no patience... if I encounter a bit of lag,
and it takes an extra second from normal to load a page, I
get annoyed!!!

zetre on 2001-11-27 21:57 [#00056222]

harmony korine directed "gummo" and wrote "kids"..

dial ups were origionally made as torture devices. If you
wanted information out of someone you would stick them in a
small room with a computer connected to the net by dial up.

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2001-11-27 22:09 [#00056227]

I haven't seen everything, I find a new site I like
everyday. Those commercials lie, you can't get to the end of
the internet. I download shit everyday! And the porn is
free, and accessible to the 10th degree.

wayout from a plastic bubble on 2001-11-27 23:44 [#00056258]

that commercial is scary...to think all the things that guy
would have had to look at to see everything on the net...he
must be scarred for life...

Xanatos from NYC on 2001-11-28 01:47 [#00056282]

I've seen kids many a time. What's Gummo? I've heard alot
about this flic recently...

i am stuck in 56k hell

Quoth from Lincoln on 2001-11-28 03:40 [#00056313]

Don't worry Ophecks... Jesus will save you. Not me... Jesus
and Me are not on speaking terms right now.

Quoth from Lincoln on 2001-11-28 03:41 [#00056314]

oh my god I am a dumb ass... replace "ophecks" with
"quadro..."

Korben Dallas from _ on 2001-11-28 04:43 [#00056316]

yeah .. i'm still in 56k heaven or something.

I don't really mind it that much. The only thing which does
really piss me off is the downloading. I don't really mind
waiting for a page to load, but like mp3.com and stuff like
that bites having to listen to lo-fi or spending a half n
hour to download 1 track. Oh well.

Xanatos, Harmony Korine also wrote and directed Julien
Donkey-Boy; and is the writer of Jokes and Ken Park. He was
in Good Will Hunting too, and directed the television
segment, which you've probably seen, "David Blaine: Magic
Man."
