maybe it`s fault of your player? some cd-rom drives scratch cd`s for example xbox does.

Ive said it before, and Ill say it again: Rub toothpaste onto the scratched side, rub a little in with your finger, enough to cover the surface, rub it around a bit, add a little water, rub it some more, then rinse off. bout 98% of cds should work again. saying that i really ruined my confield and that didnt fix it alone, it only works on cdroms, not hifis, simply because hifi cd drives are crap and even a cheap cdrom is better, since it is desgined differently, i.e. for data not just audio.
