don't you have this programme in your respective countries? it's real, yeh. in England it's called Pop Idol, here it's called Idols. (one of the people in the English panel is Rick Waterman, the git that produced Kylie Minogue and Rick Astley in the eighties.) anybody who wants can do an audition - they can chose themselves what they want to do. I must say - the programme was worth just to see people make complete utter asses of themselves. and for what? because they buy into this bullshit of wanting to be famous - not because they actually are good in anything, their goal is Being Famous. it's pretty incredible. second series is coming up here. |
