how do you know that black market (at best, stolen) ketamine is not actually a similar and more dangeous drug, like phencyclidine (pcp)? pcp has similar effects, but the potential for disaster is much greater. believe me, if someone has pcp to sell, and they know you'll buy it if you think it's ketamine, they will tell you it is ketamine. if you're going to take a risk, better make it an informed one. |

One of my pill head mates in Bristol was a fan of that (GHB). They only made it illegal here fairly recently (I think it was its growing popularity as a date rape drug that closed the deal) which was suprising as it seemed pretty similar to Es in its effect. nlogax: Yes, they do use PCP on horses... not as much as they used to, but they still do. I believe it was made as a horse tranquilizer first, it only got really popular with the drug taking community when it was realised it had hallucinogenic side effects. It's also possible to become addicted to it, horses sometimes do if they receive it for prolonged periods of time. |

Good advice all round....nice to see a decent thread on here for a while... Can't say I agree with many things above but , as always, make your own mind up about these things....there's pros & cons to everything, even crossing the rd (if you'll excuse the cliche..)... |

KETAMINE is a smaller animal tranquilizer. really its a cheap shit drug. I dunno why people do it, I inhaled some once through a rag, most people get it in powder (less potent form rather than liquid/gas), its not as strong as PCP persay..... while PCP is still better, its not really, cause both drugs suck. K as its called around here is used frequently, not as much as it used to be since the rave scene died down a lot (thankgod) and well thats about it, if your going to shove crappy drugs up your nose atleast make it worth your while. |

On that note, how is hash? How would you compare it to dank nugget, which is what I usually try to smoke.. is it like "super weed" or is hash the same as good buds? |

im dont know what is a dank nugget so i cant really tell. is it better than good buds? hash im getting now is quite stronger (perhaps i just have a good suplier haha). but i had some excellent skunk some months ago that was much more effective than hash, so i guess it kind of depends on what you get. im really no expert in this various expressions :) |

K is a pretty nice disassociative tranquiliser its mild effects arent very long lasting, and the only side effect is the feeling that you should take a nap about 5 or 6 hours later whether or not it is a "cat" tranquliser doesn't matter, because tranqs work the same on all mammals hit erowid.org for all your ketamine and "this or that drug" information |

I've had PCP on several occasions. it is quite nice in moderate doses. but getting the dosage right is the tricky part. you ought to be careful when trying this stuff. make sure somebody is there that knows what they are doing or don't try it at all. never had any special K though. |

not everyone who takes ketamine takes it for the entertainment thrill ride or for anaethesia. i would argue that pharmaceutical ketamine is kinder to the cns in terms of potential for damage than a large dose of dextromethorphan. |
