Technics Sl 1012-mk2, i think. I might have switched the numbers or gotten that SL-bit wrong, but it's either 1012 or 1210-mk2

No, not the SL1200 or 1210! They are great DJ turntables, and good for listening, but not worth the money purely for listening. Get some rega planars, they are nice audiophile tables, but for listening only, no scratching!
-It always makes me laugh how many people who are 'into music' or have too much money waste it getting a 1210 with their expensive stereo, cos its 'the best money can buy' and 'top DJs use them'. hahahaha, dont beleive the hype!
Don't get me wrong, 1210s /1200s are wicked, but not for just listening, considering the price, although they are bomb proof. Get the Rega's.

my numark tt1150 works fine for me. you don't really need a big brand name if you just want a turntable for listening - only shell big bucks if you plan to spin.
