I got this album several years ago... but it kind of died out of interest, and was lost to my cd box.
But I was going through it, and decided to give this another shot, and damn, its pretty funky.
Any fans of this guy?
Reccomend another album?

yeah cool album i got jelly tones, flatspin and mix-up vol3 (which is a mix cd compiled and mixed by him)
but jelly tones is definately the best of those three, i wouldn't recommend flatspin, it's pretty weak imo

I like Jelly Tones a lot, but Flatspin wasn't too good. It didn't have that whole futuristic Tokyo thing going on.

i used to be the biggest ken ishii fan. jelly tones was my first 'proper' techno album...i loved it at the time, but i don't think it has aged very well. ken ishii's early ambient/experimental work is nothing short of amazing! he recorded a slew of great stuff under the names, flare, rising sun, joga, and utu during the early 90's. innerelements is his finest...i know i've said this before, but i think it's one of the best electronic music records ever.
