Guys, do you know of any software able to find patterns
given two strings......

like i have one value string which is...

95B7 F87C A2CA

and out of this value comes (in combination with an
algorhythm)

96C8 EF01 8A97

so its based on a hexadecimal numbering system.....can
anyone get any further? really important

It's not pattern recognition - it's called decipehring. Do
you have more than one pair of input/output ? And are you
real sure the hexadecimal numbers are meaningful in term of
Data representation (could be also ASCII strings or smthing
else) ?

If it's software/pr0n cracking bullshit I won't help you -
And no there's no userfriendly software that can find
patterns out of a pair of random numbers !

it is not a pair of random numbers, the second string is a
direct result of the first.

and no, no cracking, it's a program i have had running for
years which now is fuggin around and the company don't exist
no more....

But that's a registration code ?

If you wanna 'break the code' you need to either:

* have a significant large number of input/output pairs

* reverse engineer the compiled code or have access to the
sources

well i could get a few pairs together.....

cross reference them....
´reverse engineering, i am not into spending a few weeks on
this...maybe i'll just give up,

Or you can upgrade to a more recent software ?
