i just bought this movie... anyone seen it? i found it very inspiring. also, i bought the collected works of spike jonez and ordered the chris cunningham dvd. |

I already own the Chris Cunningham one -- fkin amazing (although totally lacking half his work). Then my friend showed me the Michel Gondry one, and I just bought the entire series, so now I'm gonna have two copies of the chris cunningham disc. skratch worth it? |

skratch is honest about real hip hop, and the turntable artists... dj shadow, q-bert, mix master mike, cut chemist, z-trip, jazzy jay, bambatta... really cool documentary... my favorite part is when they discuss the art of digging to find the perfect record... the place dj shadow shops is unreal... their music collections are crazy... |

yo yo yo!!! i've been in that record shop many times.... its in sacramento california, usa. it is called simply "records" and it is fucking insane.. the basement is reserved for the hardcores like shadow aomngst few others... i've even pet the cat that is on his "entroducing" cd cover... scratch is okay too. i saw it at the movie theater across the street from that shop@!! |
