I like that app, except that I'm unable to remove the ip-range where xlt is included, because the fucking program crashes everytime I try to do so.
besides, if they really are after you, they'll fucking smoke your ass anyway, peerguardian or not.

I'm sure peerguardian is a good piece of software, but it's not like it's a magic application that prevents you from being caught if they're really on to you. Anyone who thinks that is naive.

thanks for the link -- this program rules
of course if it gets too popular the riaa can simply switch ips.. but in the meantime, makes one less of a target i suppose

Yeah most definately!
Also i am sure they do alot. How many ip's are there? Was that like 80 million?
*checks
Successfully loaded 82746575 IPs from 1341 profiles.
With stats like that i feel a bit better. I seriously am thinking hard about that original post though. I usually have 0 activity. I find it odd that while i was simpily running slsk i got all this. :/

"ok. now I downloaded it and installed it... what setting shall I change?
what shall I do? "
Well when i got this message i was running at 100% aggression instead of the 90 or 95 and i had the priority set to high instead of normal.
Other than that you can leave it minimized and all the info that you need appears right on the main screen.
I just wish i could remove XLT's ip from the range that is included in. I think you can only remove a range. I will look into this a bit more.

you could remove ranges, if the application didn't return a run-time error or what ever the fuck it returns when you try, so no, you can't because the whole application is one big huge bug.

The rejected connections are not just from RIAA, in fact most of it is spyware/adware. In that case it's a good tool nonetheless.
