Bastard thing just fucked up the only copy of a track I had
started working on.

I had just prodced a mixdown of an early version and when I
clicked OK the computer just turned off. Rebooted and it is
all gone :(

Anyway this is it, what I had started doing. It is called
kormaflavourednaanbreadsticks which is what I was eating
when I started to make it :(

when i get upset at my computer i usually bang the shit out
of it....but then regret it afterwards when it starts to
make funny noises that weren't there before.

It's really arsey when PCs do that. I feel for you mate...

I've lost some really good bits of tracks that way. Worst is
when a track is half done, you do something that makes it
sound much better, pc crashes and you go back to the old
save file. Try as you might you can never recreate that
rhythm, synth patch/whatever that made it what it was... you
end up finishing the track, it's pretty mediocre and you
jsut think to yourself, if only it hadn't crashed...

I am not going to make any more music, I can't be arsed any
more. I don't think I don't think I have the talent for it
anyway...oh well :(

Thanks for the sympathy anyway :)

keep trying, hard work eventually pays off. that's good
advice that i keep telling myself, but i quit making music
ages ago.
