great tune... produced by nile rogers who was behind chic,
sister sledge etc, he also produced like a virgin album by
madonna... definately the neptunes or timbaland of his time

Bowie has at least sucked for the past 20 years.
"Ziggy Stardust" was pretty cool but was making one pretty
cool album his ticket to getting praised for 20 years of
shite?

there's more then Ziggy Stardust that was good... I actually
don't think Ziggy was that great... but I guess lots of
people do...

Low is amazing, and I bought Heros yesterday and it's
nice... but I haven't heard that many Bowie albums myself...
but he has released some great stuff!

I still prefer "Station to Station" but Ziggy and the Berlin
trilogy are also magnificant.

BOWIE is a TRUE ORIGINAL......very few artists can transcend
several generations like he does, and still remain inventive
and not relying on past styles to stay in the mix.

for me his older work is more to my taste than stuff in the
last few years (save HEATHEN and the track on the UNDERWORLD
st) but i would sell my beloved sock monkey to see him in
concert before i die! =0)

one could argue though that Bowie just saw the trends, and
jumped on the band wagon so to speak, to appear all cutting
edge and stuff... rather then trying to create trends like
some bands... but I love him none the less... he's released
some great music, and is definitely one of the most
influencial artists around...

I even heard something one time saying that he was more
influencial then the beatles... which might be true, but how
do you determine that exactly?
