i was using goat tracker yesterday and for the first time
ever, osX crashed on me. i restarted and reopened goat
tracker, and it crashed again. then when i tried to turn the
computer on, half the screen was grey and half was black.
there were black lines scrolling on the grey area and it
scared me. i eventually got it to turn on for real, deleted
goat tracker. froze again. restarted in os9, tried to
rebuild the desktop, froze in the middle of that.

now the monitor wont turn on at all. i can tell that it's
doing something, the hard drive makes that start up noise,
if i hit the shut down button and click around it beeps.

the problem is i don't know how to control a monitor at all
with a laptop.

does anyone know how to fix this?
