So there was this song i heard on my local classic rock
station. I had never heard it before. Soon after i had
forgotten about it.

Is there some how i can search for it on a web site or
something by using the little lyrics i know?

Is this a lost cause?

"My my hey hey rock and roll is here to stay"

that's the song currently stuck in my head. :D

It was some sort of anti-government song that i heard at
like 3 in the morning.

The lyrics were something about "we'll burn your government
down" or something.

They never said who it was. Great song though

When i was searching earlier i was swamped by punk bands. I
was wondering if maybe there was a music lyric search?

*goes to investigate*

Hey Hey, My My (Into The Black)
a.k.a.: "Into The Black"

(Written: t.b.d.)
Notes:

Hey hey, my my
Rock and roll can never die
There's more to the picture
Than meets the eye.
Hey hey, my my.

Out of the blue
and into the black
You pay for this,
but they give you that
And once you're gone,
you can't come back
When you're out of the blue
and into the black.

The king is gone
but he's not forgotten
Is this the story
of Johnny Rotten?
It's better to burn out
'cause rust never sleeps
The king is gone
but he's not forgotten.

Hey hey, my my
Rock and roll can never die
There's more to the picture
Than meets the eye.

Yeah i totally shouldn't have posted that because that
wasn't the song i was looking for. :P This Neil Young one
just has been in my head forever.

The actual one i am looking for is like
"we'll burn your government down" or something.
