Just listened to oddioblender's "leaguewalker" and although
i'm not too keen on the 8bit videogamish stuff (a bit too
simplistic for my liking) i dig the rhythms. I know there
are lots of people here into breakcore/breakbeat (same
thing?) and i'm totally new to this genre so reccomend me
some stuff!

Venetian snares eh? I have like a lot of his stuff -

Venetian Snares - A Giant Alien Force.m3u
Venetian Snares - Doll Doll Doll.m3u
Venetian Snares - Find Candace.m3u
Venetian Snares - Live @ The Barn, Wisconsin 18-05-02.m3u
Venetian Snares - Live At All Tomorrow's Parties 2003.m3u
Venetian Snares - Salt.m3u
Venetian Snares - Winter In The Belly Of A Snake.m3u

but when i listened to it i found it far too noisy and
"shit". Can you reccomend me some VSnares in particular from
the above list, ie specific albums or tracks from albums?

did you try "Befriend a Child Killer?" or anything off of
"Higgins Ultra Low Glue Funk Hits?"

by the way, if you dig 8bit stuff, BitShifter is pretty
awesome. Also, a bit more chill break-driven is TRS-80.

TRS-80 from Chicago

BitShifter from NYC

these were two of my main influences for the stuff you
heard.
