I dreamed lucidly for the first time last night I thought I had before, but I'd never had total control, just that I could change certain things.
I had been listening to drukqs for the first time that evening just before I went to sleep.
I dreamt I was on a train and was just floating around, changing the architecture and whenever anyone pissed me of I just covered their face and changed who they were once I took my hands away.
I wash chewing loads of hash in the dream which although I knew it was a dream kind of explained the weirdness of it, making it seem more real if you can understand that.
Does anyone else have any experience of this or tips of how to remember your dreams (I might do it lots, just not remember)?

I've been recording my dreams for a while now, with a voice recorder. Every morning. But my dream memory doesn't seem to be expanding for some reason. Its not working, all the guides to get there I have read, and it wont work. Will keep trying though.

what do you think why you "don´t" dream when you smoke weed? at least i can´t remember even THAT i dreamt when i did a smoke ... do you think the things you solve naturally in your dreams are solved at day because of your "expanded" mind when stoned? just a thought ...

Lucid dreaming is fun, though I can't control when I can fly and have off with anyone in my dreams, I just seem to know when I'm dreaming and then am able to cross any border. Perhaps an even stranger experience is sleep paralysis, which might be somewhat akin to it. I've been face down in my pillow for over ten minutes before, unable to move yet fully awake and hardly able to breath because my body wasn't awake yet. It can be the ultimate test of your conscious v.s. your reflexs.

my only lucid dream was trying to translate what the clock said on my desk. I swear i was asleep, but the lucid dream was about waking up and moving up and down, it was VERY messed up.

ive had somethign similar to that.
i was awake one time and i had a glimpse into my memory... of being face down on my bedm and you know how when you wake up and youve been lying on an arm, you cant move it, wel i was sleeping on my chest and hence i couldnt move ANYTHING. and im not claustrophobic or anythgin, but i got very claustrophobic then, as i my face was in the pillow and i couldnt breathe.
but i realised thats too far out to have actually hapepend and it was a dream.

My father has suffered from sleep paralysis. Anyone know if it's genetic?

almost all my dreams are somewhat lucid. i'm better at feeling physical things such as pleasure, pain, touch than being able to control things.
i think it's better to record your dreams in a book rather than on to tape. it's better for the eidic memory i think.

IT's called Sleep Paralysis? Oh shit, Scary Bear, tell me more...
There's been a few times where I've woken up from a dream and I JUST CAN'T MOVE...it's very weird, until I get an absolute burst of energy to move...
It's terrifying, really...

maybe you cant move because your father is holding you down, trying to molest you.
