I was in contact with his friend who reported this recently... he says he'll email a photo of Cabbogs grave that I can put in a locked "memorial" thread.

This calls for a mandatory Iz-Us listen in his memory.

hm i didnt know this person, but late respects as it is. its weird hearing about people you know online dying, cuz you (at least i) tend not to think of them completely as real people. then bam! reality kicks in. especially saving someone's life, especially his brother's, much respects to all that knew him in real life or the internet.

yeah I know what you mean... I mean I don't have the illusion that any of you aren't real, but when someone is taken instantly out of your life like that, it really shocks you (or me atleast).
God, I'm listening to iz-us and I can see him falling in slow motion.. I know it's morbid but my mind just tends to think about these things and there is nothing I can do about it. I often wonder if one day I'll go insane because of it.

This thread is reminding me of when I heard about his passing -- also late. I wound up crying for him. I also wrote to his parents and they sent a copy of the memorial program and obituary and a personal letter. They also included info about memorial donations to his school's arts program. I can copy that info here if anyone is interested in sending along something in his memory.
