The album will be issued together with a bonus
fly-on-the-wall disc that features extracts from tapes of
the legendary band during the making of the 'Let It Be'
album and movie in the late '60s. There will also be a
booklet that features historic photography of the recording
sessions and extracts of band dialogue from the original
booklet that first accompanied early copies of the 1970
album.

Basically pretty useless, and a waste of a disc.

For the casual fan, these things aren't overly interesting,
and for the hardcore fan, it's NOTHING worth noting.

They could have put some alternate takes, the 8 minute Dig
It, early Abbey Road track demos, All Things Must Pass, the
awesome early Two of US takes... but no. That would be too
smart and useful.

It's kind of fun to listen to but it's more a novelty than
anything of actual substance. Extremely disapointing.

yeah, it was pretty disappointing. people are quite cynical
about it though, thinking its mcartneys "shrewd" marketing
move to make some extra dough, as though he doesn't have
enough. i know beatles fans have wanted this for years, and
the band wanted to do it, but its just not very satisfying
in execution. i'd prefer they simply remastered and recut
all the old albums instead.

Dead on. This isn't some soulless business venture, this was
a genuine attempt to appease rabid fans. Good intentions,
less than stellar results.

All the albums need the Yellow Submarine Songtrack sonic
treatment... please, before I die!

so no video?? that's a total ripoff

is that let it be movie leaked onto the internet ? the one
where you can literally watch thebreakup happen as it
happened?

by the way ..the first disc does sound great.. they
definately need to remix the rest of the catalogue.. you're
right...

I'm asking for the anthology DVD set for my b-day/x-mas.. is
this really good? I remember watching this when it was on
but there is more there irght

they could make so much money by fully satiating the
curiosity and the demands of the die-hard (and the casual,
for that matter)

anyway, how about it? is that let it be movie online
anywhere?

Yeah, Let it Be is pretty widely available, I got it on
Soulseek a while back. And it is a GREAT movie. Alternately
a lot of fun (they're hilarious in studio and the music is
great) and really sad, in hindsight. It has a strange
ambience to it that that you'll have to experience to
understand. Odd movie, there's nothing comparable.

And the Anthology is absolutely vital to anybody that
doesn't suck, it's brilliant. The extra material is worth it
too. I actually don't have it... I've had the tapes for
years but I don't have the money to burn on the DVDs.

Let It Be Naked was a golden oppurtunity to show what 'Get
Back' should've been and they FUCKED it up.

It's huge, about 850MB... too big to fit on a CD-R, so when
my harddrive crashed, I lost it before I could split it.

Jaroen- it DOES sound great, better quality... it's the
arrangements that make it inferior, and the fact that it
could have been MUCH better. It's still a great listen and
the sound had a facelift.

I was surprised the album wasnt' simply a de-spectorized
version of the original release.. this naked album is just a
number of completely different takes altogether .. which is
weird/defeats the purpose of the project to begin with, no?

which of these tracks and the tracks from the original album
are from that rooftop concert?
