Been getting really into this Springsteen album. I kept seeing it in Top 100 lists and it was in Pitchfork's Top 100 of the 80s.
I always thought he was a bit MOR but it turns out I was wrong. what a great album. Anyone else like it?

um..don't know..used to get into them..but..now can't really picture enjoying them...if you like the mellow loose melacholy feel of Nebraska..The River... might be the next thing to try out...Born to Run and Born in the USA are more..um...brimming with Machismo

Springsteen sucks arse. I saw a live performance by him a while ago and it turned into this religious happening, with father Bruce preaching the gospel in looong, pathetic chunks of egomania...jeeeezez!

Why? I wouldn't waste a thread on such limp irony. I genuinely like the album. What is wrong with that? I didn't confess to liking Brothers In Arms.
