in no order:

polynomial-c - aphex twin
belfast - orbital
dyks? - squarepusher
unfinished simpathy - massive attack
idioteque - radiohead
rae - autechre
common people - pulp
pete standing alone - boc
vordshobn - aphex twin
(almost any track from entroducing)

"unfinished simpathy - massive attack"

this song is PERFECTION. everything about it, but expecially
the strings. they are so deeply moving.

Q's list is stupid. A Day In The Life instead of Tomorrow
Never Knows?! How wrong is that?

WHAT!?!?!!???!?!?

smells like teen spirit!?!? destiny's wha!? w-who? "my name
is"!?!?

you have GOT to be kidding me. whoever did that and
published it with a straight face deserves to be shot in a
place where s/he has to live with it

Creep? Jesus Pleezus.

I'd make a list, but I always get way too stressed when I do
top 10s.

The only song that deserves to be in this top-10 is the
beatles - a day in the life.

what a terrible list. not that i think any electronica
belongs on it but the artist choices are just so predictable
and, even worse, they didn't even pick their best songs. and
where is david bowie, burt bacharach, neil diamond, neil
young, the beach boys, etc., etc., etc.

offline hedphukkerr from mathbotton (United States) on 2003-11-20 15:27 [#00958842]

not a terrific list for my tastes. id have to say (in nor
particular order, cuz i have that sheizz)

tool - third eye
radiohead - idioteque
afx - vordhosbn
nirvana - pennyroyal tea
beatles - srgt pepper's lonely hearts club band
ratm - know your enemy
pixies - where is my mind
nin - gave up remix on fixed
jimi hendrix - purple haze
jimmy's chicken shack - when you die, youre dead

i tend to think the beatles are pretty overrated. I like a
couple of their tracks, (norweigan wood, strawberry fields,
yesterday) but for the most part I don't think they compare
to Aphex and the other IDM greats. I know the style of music
is completely different, and for their time the beatles did
good music, but I don't think they are deserving of as much
praise as they still get. Of course, if you grew up with the
music that's a different thing I guess. They wouldnt be on
my top 10 list at all though.

*waits for the hate posts to start*
