is it longer than vatican nitez? does vatican nitez just
sound like a repeat from older albums or does it explore
new realms?

yes, cradle of history is longer

vatican nitez has clear global goon style, with a little
evolution.

It is very good. Much better than the rest of his stuff.
Quite strange, really.

i havent heard anything from him so is it strange as in dark
or strange as in a midget family shackled to a blimp who
constantly sings show tunes?

It is strange that he has released one excellent album, and
several wich are quite poor. He mey not be the first to do
that, but I started with Vatican Nitez, and had a
WOW-experience, and when I haerd his other releases I just
couldn't belive how poor they were compared to V.N.

He MAY not... Yeah. You get the picture...

I have no idea. I prefer listening to music totally clear in
my head. If you like melodic electronica like Boards of
Canada and Plaid, you should be happy. Goon is a bit like
that but has more naive, childish melodies.

disapointed

Got any listening post links cos I like BoC n Plaid... does
it make you weep with joy?

I never weep to music. But I recommend Vatican Nitez to BoC
and Plaid fans. Just DL a track or listen to Xlt-clips if
you're not sure

after cradle of history, vatican nitez feels like an EP.
almost 80 minutes compared to about 40.

it's an excellent release throughout, but i think the
shorter runtime has a lot to do with it.

vatican nitez has more of my favorite goon tracks on it than
cradle of history but both are quite nice albums.

Agreed. There are five or six very good tracks on
"Cradle..." but with all those fillers? Pfft...

I advise just alcohol and weed if you want to take drugs
while listening to it. Possibly a small amount of mushrooms.
Basically nothing that psyches you up, but nothing too
trippy because it's nice, contemplative music.
